Livi Jay is a licensed aesthetician, 2019 graduate of the Aveda Institute, and founder of A Hidden Gem Aesthetic Sudio.
Shortly after completing her education, Livi opened her studio with a vision of creating a warm, results-driven skincare space built on connection, confidence, and genuine care.
Today, that vision continues through a refined, personalized studio experience focused on advanced aesthetics and long-term skin health.
WHERE IT STARTED
For Livi, skincare has always been personal.
Livi’s passions for skincare began long before becoming an aesthetician.
After struggling with cystic acne forma. young age, she understands firsthand how deeply skin concerns can affect confidence, and how frustrating it can feel to search for something that actually works.
That experience shaped the way she approaches skincare today.
Rather than relying on unnecessarily aggressive treatments, Livi believes in creating thoughtful, effective treatment plans that support the skin while working toward meaningful long-term results.
Because treating the skin is only part of it. Helping someone feel confident in it again is what matters most.

That sense of home and community is woven into A Hidden Gem—from the relationships she builds with longtime clients to creating a studio where walking through the door feels comfortable and familiar.
Livi lives locally with her husband, Hayden, and their two dogs, Ellie and Molly, who keep life full of personality and plenty of entertainment.
Outside the treatment room, you'll usually find her supporting Hayden at a rugby match, catching up on reality TV, or planning her next excuse for a beach trip.
