What to Expect
This treatment actually starts at home.
Unlike a traditional appointment where you show up and treatment begins, your Microneedling + EXO|E experience includes a specific home-care component.
You'll receive instructions for using your D|TOX product before your scheduled microneedling appointment.
BEFORE — D|TOX
You'll follow the provided pre-treatment instructions to prepare your skin leading into your appointment.
Following those instructions matters. This isn't the product we want sitting unopened on the bathroom counter while you promise me you were totally going to use it. 😉
DURING — EXO|E + MICRONEEDLING
At your appointment, Livi assesses your skin before thoroughly cleansing and preparing it for treatment.
Professional microneedling is then performed using settings selected according to your skin, treatment area, and goals.
Your EXO|E professional treatment is incorporated into the procedure according to the treatment protocol.
As with standard microneedling, you may experience pressure, vibration, scratching, or prickling sensations during treatment. Some areas may feel more sensitive than others.
Immediately afterward, your skin may appear pink to red and feel warm, tight, or sensitive.
AFTER — RE|PAIR
Your treatment doesn't end when you leave the studio.
You'll continue with the RE|PAIR portion of your system at home according to the instructions Livi provides.
Because freshly microneedled skin requires intentional post-procedure care, you'll also receive guidance about when to resume your regular skincare, active ingredients, makeup, exercise, and other parts of your normal routine.
