About the Treatment
Sometimes we have to go a little deeper.
Facials are incredible for maintaining the skin, supporting hydration, exfoliating surface buildup, and addressing many common concerns.
But some concerns live deeper.
Microneedling uses a professional device with very fine needles to create controlled microchannels within the skin. These micro-injuries trigger the skin’s natural wound-healing response and support the production of collagen and elastin as the skin repairs itself.

What to Expect

Before beginning, Livi will assess your skin, concerns, current home-care routine, recent treatments, and any factors that could affect whether microneedling is appropriate for you.
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared before treatment.
A professional microneedling device is then passed over the treatment area using settings selected according to your skin, the area being treated, and your individual goals.
And no—we don't automatically go as deep as possible.
Treatment depth is selected intentionally. Deeper doesn't automatically mean better.
The goal is to create an appropriate controlled response while respecting the skin and the area being treated.
During treatment, you may feel pressure, vibration, scratching, or prickling sensations. Some areas of the face can feel more sensitive than others.
Immediately afterward, the skin commonly appears pink to red and may feel warm, tight, or sensitive, similar to the appearance and sensation of a sunburn.
Over the following days, you may experience temporary dryness, tightness, sensitivity, or light flaking as the skin recovers.
You'll receive specific post-care instructions, including guidance on when to resume your regular skincare products and active ingredients.
This is one treatment where the aftercare matters just as much as the appointment.
